My belief in God is a very personal relationship and a faith I have for myself, by myself. You believing or not believing in God has no more bearing on how I feel about you as a person any more than something as trivial as your favorite color. People too often use their beliefs or lack thereof to alienate, or in this case, manipulate people. Sincerity can be a facade when things like your friends, family, and income are at risk. A body of thought becomes an enterprise. And when a body is a business, that's a prostitute. I don't stake my faith in people. I believe in God, not Christians.
lyrics
I didn't have to wait until August
To set myself on fire
Burn you at tha stake
In tha black flames
Everything seems...less inspired
So when tha sun goes west
Your true pastels manifest
But they won't get you very far
'Cause in tha moonlight you'll be seen
For what you really are
Who you really are
So when tha sun sets
I'll know who to bloodlet
You're sky sent?
Come in my focus
You're not tha man you proclaim
Well how long will you confess it?
It's like you made tha realization
But you failed to address it
I'm sick of tha lies
Your advice in nursery rhymes
Worthless verses you scream
In search of tha dollar signs
Messengers? Belt of Orion?
I've heard it all before
You plagiarize tha Bible
Charge a cover at tha door
Record deal with tha devil
And I hope it's paying off
You aren't real
Thoughts are sterile
Empty words from empty hearts
You'll be found out soon enough
It makes me who I am to hate
Tha person that you've come to be
You're tha reason
Those in need
Won't believe tha shit you feed
I love Jesus Christ
Not Religion
And I believe in God
Not Christians
