You can't love somebody into wanting to be a better person. When they realize they're going nowhere but don’t have tha guts to improve themselves they try to tear those around them who are moving forward down. People don't change for other people. People only change for themselves. It's hard to make tha realization that people you care about don't want to improve themselves and even harder when you realize there's no choice but to separate yourself from them.
lyrics
Cut my bracelets
Cut my losses
I hope you're happy...
Welcome home.
Burning bridges
Burning crosses
If that's love and this is friendship
I'd rather die alone
12:01 am begins a new day
But not for you because
You'll always be tha same way
Ending right where you start
And breaking your mother's heart
But bottoms up; you've gotta live up
To what they say
It's hard to even call it
(It's not real life)
Selfishness
You're just a coward
(Time to grow up)
Too scared to be someone else
You'll end up dying in tha same bed
(Or say goodnight)
That you lay
(Standing still's not tha same
as being stuck)
I shut tha door
As I watched you hit tha floor
And thank God you're not my problem
Anymore
How long is forever again?
I guess it's hard to remember
While fishing for tha new trend
For you to fail at in no time
Wake up loser: it's showtime!
All tha world's a stage
And you're just a stagehand
With your half retarded brother
And your rent payed by your mother
Running your mouth
Like you think we know each other
So if you need a role model or
Someone to look up to
Just check overhead
'Cause I will always be above you
Like everything
Is exactly what it seems
And no one ever changes
So there's no point in dreams
Believe everything you hear
Tell everyone you know
Now that I'm here
Your threats weren't ever sincere
Face-to-face
True feelings begin to show
I see that every thing
Is exactly as it seems
No one ever changes
So there's no point in dreams
I'm seeing that tha gleam
Has fallen from your eyes
Seein tha light for tha first time
As it blinds
Eye contact
Better not blink
Watch your step
Watch your head
'Cause you better not think
But I'm getting off subject
I'm about to make public
Cowards undone
It's time for tha trumpets
Lightyears behind me
You haven't moved up
That's more than bad luck
Probably 'cause you suck
It's a staring contest:
You and I
If looks could kill
I'd watch you die
Believe everything you hear
Tell everyone you know
